My Story
Hi, I’m Kat, and my creative journey started when I was a young child, always looking for ways to create something special from everyday items around the house. Whether it was crafting from things I found or coming up with unique ideas for school projects, I loved exploring new ways to make things meaningful. Creativity has always been my way of expressing care, joy, and connection.

When my father passed away, I couldn’t bear the thought of letting go of his clothes—each one held so many memories. I decided to turn this loss into something meaningful by crafting a keepsake for my mom, using his clothing to make her a memory bear. This small act of creativity turned out to be deeply healing for both of us. When family and friends saw the bear, they were moved by the way it captured a piece of him. Soon, word spread among friends and family, and before long, I was receiving requests from others who wanted something similar for their own loved ones.

What began as a personal act of remembrance has now become a passion and a calling. Creating memory bears allows me to honor not only my own memories but also the stories and lives of others. I’m grateful every day for the opportunity to bring comfort and connection to those who trust me with their memories.
